So many homeowners with new pool projects have been faced with the challenge of finding the best place for their pool equipment to complement the rest of their home, yard and landscaping. They don’t want the pool equipment to be visible. They don’t want to give up full use of a garage bay. They don’t want to spend thousands of dollars or expand their taxable footprint to build a special room for the equipment that could be used for better purposes. No one wants to sacrifice the peace and quiet or fun sounds of enjoying a perfectly designed backyard pool because of pool equipment noise. The homeowners we know want more options to get the equipment out of sight and where it can’t be heard.
So many pool builders we have worked with face challenges giving the best options for equipment location to their homeowner customers. There are tireless challenges getting great trades people to execute the flat/concrete work, bringing pipes up out of the floor or through a wall in the right place to match equipment layouts, or plumbers to do the best job laying out equipment so its compact, efficient and still easy to service. Coordinating with electricians to get the load center and connections made and inspected can be a lengthy iterative process. And, how about time lines? Projects can always use a new way to take weeks out of the total build, so builders can make customers happy with pools finishing quickly and pool builders can build more pools!
